Founder David Thomas and wife Kathy Joerg .... we are just an average couple that over the years have been through many trial and error periods in our relationship. Through reading, viewing educational DVD’s, listening to many authors and educators, it has enabled us to make a better loving relationship with ourselves and with each other.
By talking with our friends and family members about these matters we have come to realize the need and importance of information, dealing with communication, relationships, spirituality and sexuality, not only in relationship, but for your own conscious awareness.
We along with our committee members believe it is time to bring this information to the Midwest community, to promote empowerment, enlightenment and most importantly self-awareness. We will accomplish this by bringing to you some of the most insightful teachings and speakers available today by way of the Lotus Workshop and Conference

For God created us in his image, and we are precious!
I met David and Kathy several years ago, when they were beginning the exciting idea of a conference to reunite spirituality and sexuality. I was contemplating a serious life change, divorce, and wanted to explore new arenas outside of my box. Our relationship was a life turning point, for I had not realized that my own identity was lost, and that I only knew me through other's descriptions. Working with Lotus Workshop, to reach out and to teach the normalcy of our sexual selves, the beauty of our inner and outer beings, and helping women to be fully empowered, has been incredible and strengthening, as I too move forward.
Being a part of nature, of breezes and ocean spume, has always been important to me, as I was raised in California by a mother that nurtured nature and her gifts, from food to activities. Wanting to educate children had always been a goal, so I attained my B.S. in elementary education and set off to play with my favorite age group, kids, both in the classroom setting and in a home day care center, often tutoring my graduates and entertaining them with a small catering business at their growing up celebrations.
The world is awesome, and I cannot wait to see what happens as I spread my spiritual and sexual wings.

In our lives there are certain beliefs and scripting' that may have sabotaged our viewpoints and actions that may have triggered feelings of guilt. We want to help by introducing educational programs, which will teach you ways to communicate these feelings, needs, desires, and to have a better understanding of self-awareness, self-loving and self-confidence.
After all, conscious and compassionate communication are the keys to all aspects of our relationships in life.
